MMD AQUATICS
MMD Aquatics is an inclusive and progressive swimming club based in the Cape Town CBD. We cater for swimmers of all age groups and skill levels, focusing on the individual needs of the athlete.
We offer various packages from individual to group sessions (3 to 4 students) and squads (6 to 8 students). Groups and squads are kept as small as possible to achieve the best results from our training sessions.
Through MMD, members can participate in level specific SSA sanctioned galas.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
Suitable for beginner swimmers (learn to swim), intermediate swimmers (technical development and corrections) and advanced swimmers (outcome based).
We have classes catering for swimmers of all ages (ranging from 5 to 17 years).

HEAD COACH
Maik Mahadeo-Diercks has been coaching privately and for various schools and clubs for more than 20 years, and founded MMD Aquatics in 2020.
He has supported dozens of athletes in their swimming journeys, be it competing internationally, achieving a bucket list dream, or simply learning to swim and feel confident in the water.
Maik, who swam for the German National team for three years, holds a Masters degree in Sports Science, various coaching qualifications, as well as Level 2 First Aid Qualification.
